Good Food Brampton (GFB) provides community-oriented programs and initiatives to support the unique needs of our clients. Our programs are inclusive and serve individuals and families, including women and children, youth, newcomers and seniors. We work to increase community members' access to healthy and culturally appropriate food through initiatives like the Fresh Produce Box and Organic Produce Market, which runs from June to October.
GFB offers workshops and programs that promote healthy eating, nutrition, culinary skills, and community gardening. We work closely with community stakeholders such as John Howard Society and the Region of Peel, to support at-risk clients in attaining food and financial security. Some of the projects we currently run at the GFB Community Kitchen include the Culinary Training for Youth (CTY) program, Youth Eclypse Food Skills initiative, and the Culinary Training for Newcomers (CTN) program.
